What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver and Labor position at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
We are a full-service premiere Junk Removal company located in Westville, NJ. We are actively looking to grow our team. We offer remote start locations on the Delware boarder, successful candiates would need to attend our Westville office 2-3 days per week for morning meetings.
We are looking for goal-driven individuals with a valid non-CDL license to join our truck team. We offer 4 day work weeks, overtime opportunities, a genuine team atmosphere, attainable room for growth, and many perks!
What you will be doing:
- Driving our Isuzu NPR 20 ft trucks
- Talking with customers and providing price estimates onsite
- Removing the quoted items from the premises, carry/lift into our truck
- Recycle, donate and dispose of items picked up at the appropriate facilities
- Staying fit & Feel amazing about helping your community
Flexible Shifts:
We offer both Part-time (1-3 Shifts per week) and Full-time (4 Shifts per week) Overtime opportunities. We ask all team members to be available to work a minimum of 1 weekend per month, allowing us to rotate all employees.
Hours:
Our truck teams typically work an average of 10-12 hours each shift; 7:30 am start time
Pay:
$16/hr base pay, PLUS AWESOME TIPS!
On top of hourly pay and your tips, we will pay you an additional $2-$8/hr (profit share) depending on how many pick-ups are completed, and fun performance bonuses, and keep some cool finds!
Employees' average earnings are $22-$26/hour each shift cash tips.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid non-CDL Driver's license with no points deducted
- Positive-minded with a friendly yet professional personality
- Reliable, goal-driven, and hardworking
- Physically able to remove and lift heavy items from properties into our trucks
