Role Description

This is a Part-time, remote role located in the Greater Phoenix Area for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, preparing and reviewing financial reports, maintaining general ledger, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations. Additional duties include financial forecasting, budgeting, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in accounting practices, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
• Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and audit coordination
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus
• Experience in the laboratory or scientific supply industry is a plus
