Job Description
COMPANY NAME: Zachry Group
JOB TITLE: Administrative Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Project Controls
LOCATION : Plaquemine Parish, LA
Zachry is searching for an Administrative Coordinator to support ongoing work at our Plaquemine LNG site. The successful candidate will be working with the Project Directorate. The position will assist and report to the Project Manager onsite on daily tasks supporting various project needs and functions.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Will receive written, verbal, and electronic requests for information
  • Will receive both physical and electronic documents.
  • Will create official business memorandums and letters.
  • Will print and issue documents to approved requestors.
  • Will communicate with and submit requests to various departments in regards to the requested information.
  • Will use various computer programs in receiving and tracking documents, and will work with various types of printers in creating hard copies per requests.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school degree.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, punctual and excellent attendance.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Organization and time management.
  • Must have good problem-solving abilities.
  • Good reading comprehension.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skill: ability to communicate with different levels of the organization including the client.
  • Ability to work with others - team player including good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Field knowledge.
  • Must be computer literate in these areas - including but not limited to (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Outlook experience also preferred.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed employee.
  • Previous experience in a construction project Administrative Role.
  • Previous experience working with operations or equivalent positions.
  • Formal/Technical education.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position will include visits to maintenance sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on sites. On work sites noise levels will be moderate to high. Job site will contain: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms.
