Youth Leadership Institute builds communities where young people and their adult allies come together to create positive community change. For over 20 years, we have sparked change through our California community-based programs--in San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo and Fresno Counties--and our national Training and Consulting Services. The Youth Leadership Institute leads the way in engaging youth in several key areas of community change, including food access, youth philanthropy, educational equity, civic engagement, and prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.
