As a Teen Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our teen programs and initiatives. From enrichment and career development programs to leadership development programs like Youth & Government, you will create opportunities for teens to discover their passions, build valuable skills, and make meaningful connections. 🎸🎨🏕

🦸What You'll Do:

• Plan, organize, and oversee teen programs and events
• Recruit, train, and mentor teen volunteers and leaders
• Collaborate with community partners to expand program offerings
• Provide guidance and support to teens facing challenges or seeking guidance
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed

🙌 About You:

• Must be 21 or older
• Previous experience working with teens in a leadership or mentoring role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and enthusiasm for implementing innovative programs
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teen staff leaders
• Ability to be a YMCA Driver preferred (valid Driver's License & ability to pass driver physical, background, & driving tests)
• Commitment to inclusivity, ensuring every member feels welcome
• Current Adult & Pediatric First Aid/AED/CPR Certification from ASHI, American Red Cross or American Heart Association or willingness to obtain the certification within 30 days of hire
