Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher : Monday-Friday - 8:30 AM-3:00 PM

Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher Responsibilities :

• Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
• Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
• Provide an enjoyable experience that allows members and participants to feel comfortable in the classroom and at the Y by offering excellent service
• Assist the head teacher in observation techniques to record information about children for use in planning curriculum
• Interacting with children, team player, knowledge of developmental appropriate practices for a two year old

Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher Qualifications :

• 2500 hours (2 years) documented experience working with children
• Are at least 18 years of age
• CDA or 60 post secondary credits (could have an associates degree in any domain)
• Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
