This Opportunity

Provides technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, and environmental permitting projects. Tasks may include assisting with the development of processes and infrastructure relating to water supply, hazardous or solid waste disposal, air emission sources, pollution control, and preserving the quality of the environment by averting the contamination and degradation of air, water, and land resources. Generates accurate and concise reports and documentation regarding field conditions, and assessing and advising on the short- and long-term risks to ecological and human health. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.

Your Impact

• Lead or co-lead preliminary and detailed design activities on a variety of municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment related assignments.
• Prepares technical reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations related to design and construction of projects under guidance of project managers and senior level engineers.
• Coordinates and directs work of design staff.
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule.
• Coordinates with regulatory agencies to prepare related Permits.
• Performs fieldwork activities such as site visits and pilot testing.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

·Bachelors degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program. Master of Science degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.

·3- 7 years of engineering experience; consulting and/or EPC project experience preferred; design and construction of municipal and /or industrial water or wastewater treatment facilities.

·Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
