WSFSSH is a twenty-five year old community-based, non-profit organization responding to the urgent need for senior housing in New York City. The mission of WSFSSH is to provide safe and affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting that enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH was founded in 1976 and opened its first building in 1980. WSFSSH has steadily grown over the past twenty-five years and now operates twelve buildings, serving 1800 people with a wide range of housing needs.
