Coworx Staffing Services is Hiring a Project Manager Near Memphis, TN

CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with one of their premier clients in the Memphis, TN area. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects of medium complexity in order to meet the performance indicators (cost, delivery, quality, etc) of a specific organization.

Temp to perm opportunity. Must be in the Memphis, TN area. Hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Establish project schedule, financial parameters and technical requirements, managing project from initiation through transfer.

• Communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedule, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management and consultants.

• Review daily production schedule and identify problem areas.

• Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to project team to resolve issues.

• Develop status reports, including project financials, insuring project team is meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.

• Maintain project plan documents, procedures and project deliverables.

• Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.

• Assist in the management of larger projects/programs.

• Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and individual contributor groups.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects in materials, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and/or program administration.
  • Able to demonstrate advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Proficient in problem solving, collaboration, time management, project planning, scoping, and execution, as well as conflict resolution.
  • Recent experience managing the onboarding of new business in a 3PL environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in Microsoft Project Management.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. A master’s degree is preferred
