Responsibilities/Duties
The Site Manager shall:
  • Manage all aspects of facility maintenance and operations, serving as the primary point of contact for federal contracts at the site.
  • Oversee a team of HVAC technicians, electricians, general maintenance technicians, and contractors, ensuring efficient resource allocation and optimal performance.
  • Utilize strong project and program management skills to oversee various projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
  • Demonstrate expertise in high voltage and substation maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize lean tools and methodologies such as statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and failure mode & effect analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage budgets effectively, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements for the Site Manager :
Required:
  • Minimum of 15 years of management experience in maintenance management roles at industrial facilities or as a facility plant manager.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in maintenance management, maintenance, and reliability management with industrial equipment or research facilities.
  • Experience in resource management, schedule management, and contract management for federal contracts.
  • Training in predominant disciplines such as substation maintenance for electrical, HVAC vibration institute level 1 or 2, fire protection, and building automation system certification.
  • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office suite, with at least three (3) years of experience.
  • Experience with Maximo software.
  • Certified Professional Maintenance Manager or any certification from the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP).
  • Ability to pass a Public Trust BG Check
Preferred:
  • Experience overseeing high voltage and substation maintenance.
  • Strong project and program management experience.
  • Prior experience in federal facility maintenance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of proactive problem-solving and strict adherence to project timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
