TITLE: Adult Student Staff Assistant
SUPERVISOR: Marilyn Cleary

SCHEDULE: Part time 20 hours/week for 20 weeks.

HOURLY PAY RATE: $20 per hour

General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:

(E) = Essential

1. (E) Provides clerical support to Adult Student blueprint delivery.
2. (E) Assist with event planning, preparation, and logistics.
3. (E) Builds and executes social media strategy through competitive and audience research.
4. (E) Maintenance of social media presence with relevant news and information for adult
students.
5. (E) Attends all department/committee meetings for purposes of maintaining minutes;
distributes minutes accordingly.
6. (E) Schedules and makes arrangements for meetings; prepares and distributes meeting agendas.
7. (E) Demonstrates civility and professional, customer-service oriented behavior, worthy of
emulation by other staff and students.
8. (E) Responsible for contributing to the WSU Strategic Plan.
9. (E) Responsible for contributing to Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action objectives.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter)
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines; excellent organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
