Radiology Technologist- PRN Position Overview: The radiologic technologist specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
- The radiologic technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients, for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. All services will be provided in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures, with a focus on superior customer service.
- Will be required to participate in rotating call schedule and be able to respond physically to the facility within 20 minutes of notification.
Works under immediate supervision.
Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
0-2 years of experience preferred.
