As a Retail Operations Specialist, your day will be filled with opportunities to oversee all teller-balancing functions. Retail banking experience and attention to detail are important while Stock Yards Bank & Trust will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidates skills to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.

**Responsibilities**

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Oversee all teller-balancing functions. Assure daily balancing of teller cash drawers to general ledger.

* Prepare month-end teller outage reports with supporting documentation and notification to appropriate management staff.

* Work with HR to ensure teller outages are properly calculated and reported.

* Perform OBA and Official Check review

* Provide day to day branch support for all Service Associates and branch personnel regarding teller functions.

* Monitor branch cash levels of all individual Service Associate cash drawers, vaults and branch dual vaults.

* Administer the Fed Line tokens for branch cash ordering, including maintenance of Service Associates password changes, and add/delete employees.

* Provide teller activity statistics on a monthly, quarterly, and as needed basis for senior management.

* Support bank strategic projects that impact teller functions.

* Maintain and reconcile monthly ATM deposit in Process general ledger with supporting documentation of results to appropriate management staff.

* Integrated Teller Administrator for maintaining overrides, setting up cash limits and password resets for all branches.

* Provide day-to-day support for other bank departments in regards to teller and branch functions.

* Process all foreign currency requests

* Provide back-up to other Retail Operation staff.

* Perform other duties as needed

**Job Requirements**

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

* High School diploma, some college preferred

* 2 years Retail Banking experience

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Good computer and math skills

* Proficient on general PC software and hardware
