Your Impact

At WNA Engineering, the ideal candidate will have a high level of working experience and knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to effectively understand how to execute our vision and mission. Serving as the Commissioning Engineer/Agent, you will lead the commissioning process and work together with our Project Managers.

Commissioning Engineer/Agent Priorities

• Lead the overall commissioning team and process
• Modify/develop project commissioning plans
• Participate in peer review of designs
• Review equipment submittals
• Conduct commissioning team meetings
• Conduct field inspections for conformance of the Construction Documents and submit corresponding reports
• Maintain an issues log of deficiencies
• Develop, witness and document functional test procedures
• Work together with our Engineers to trouble shoot
• Verify and witness owner training
• Write commissioning reports

Here's What You'll Need

• Technical or Associates Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Equivalent Level of knowledge attained through practical work experience, such as Controls Technician or HVAC Tradesman with 5 years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Commissioning
• Minimum 4 Years of experience in the Construction Industry
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Project Management experience a plus
• Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols a plus
• Willingness to travel at least 50% or as per project needs
