Job Summary
Responsible for planning and performing high quality diagnostic and therapeutic Speech Language services. Works to continually improve the quality of care provided. Spends 80% of time in direct and related patient care activities and 20% of time in department related activities.
Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Shall hold a current and valid Indiana license.
- Must be certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Upon employment and yearly thereafter, must complete mandatory inservices.
- Must be knowledgeable of disaster and MSDS manuals and procedures.
- Will review the Speech Therapy Department policy and procedure manual every two (2) years.
- Shall be CPR certified in Basic Life Support, Course "C".
