Materials Associate

Position Description :

Responsible for accurate and timely picking and kitting of customer order materials

Major Responsibilities Include :

• Picking and kitting electronic components for manufacturing floor.
• Ensure correct manufacturer of various components are kitted for specific customer’s kits.
• Ensure correct count of components being kitted using small part scale / reel counter.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventories of our raw materials.
• Perform work in accordance with all ISO, Safety Regulations, and Policies

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Other duties as required in the Production department.

Educational Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills are required.

Experience / Technical / General Skills Requirements :

• Prior experience in Electronics Manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Should be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
• Must be flexible and a team player.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Willingness to be trained.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, reach with hands and arms;

and talk or hear. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to comfortably lift up to 40 pounds. Bending and twisting to lift and reload items.

Good concentration to accurately count parts.
