Job Summary:

Job Description

The System Administrator is a hands-on position primarily focused on network infrastructure and has systems experienced background. You will be responsible for architecting, engineering, and administrating the company’s enterprise network across the US and abroad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supporting a variety of technologies in an enterprise environment, with particular emphasis on core Cisco Meraki networking, AWS, Azure, GCP.

Ensure the stability and efficient operation of Production network systems that support core business functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked devices and associated systems.

Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the uptime of Production IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer both network and server infrastructure including physical and virtual systems
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability. 99.99% uptime
• After-hours and weekend support for network and server
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, work with developers to implement those fixes
• Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware; duties include evaluation of network utilization, Network latency time, and manage ISP relations.
• Perform high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption
• Architect and build out new Meraki routing/switching/firewall/wireless infrastructure for corporate HQ and warehouse
• Engage Vendors and other IT personnel for problem support and resolution
• Creating policies, SOPs and change revision documentation
• Administer AzureAD hybrid
• Management and administration of corporate email services and platforms
• Implementation and support of enterprise management and monitoring architectures
• PCI Level 1 and SOX compliance, work with auditors annually throughout the year
• Develop and maintain network and service documentation
• Tier 2, Tier 3 escalation support
• Acting backup for the system and security administration

Education and Work Experience

• Four year degree in computer-related discipline or equivalent experience
• 8-12 years in network and/or system administrator role
• 8-10 years experience managing and/or playing a key role in projects
• Experience in warehouse/construction/retail/ecommerce operations is a plus
• Experience in infrastructures in an enterprise environment
• MSP, ISP, Software vendor management
• CCNA / Meraki Certification is a plus
• MCSE, MCITP Certification is a plus

• AWS (EC2, S3, Glacier, VPC, Route 53, AWS Backup, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudwatch, AWS SES, Lambda, Amazon Connect, Simple Notification Service, Key Management Service)
• Azure (Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, Networking)
• GCP (OAuth, Networks, Site to Site VPN tunneling)
• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart creating network and system topology for audit and documentation
• VoIP and PBX solutions (Avaya, Jive, Ringcentral, 8x8)
• Hyper-V, VMware
• MDM Administration (MaaS360, Airwatch, Jamf)
• Okta, Gsuite SSO, Intune
• Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Automox
• Familiarity and understanding of AD, DC, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS, Group Policy, FSMO roles
• Familiarity with MFA administration (Duo preferred)
• Datto, Rubrix or BackupExec
