Land Survey Technician

As a Land Survey Technician at Widseth, youll obtain data for a variety of residential and commercial projects and perform boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys, section corner redocumentation surveys, and commercial construction staking. If you love variety of projects along with working outdoors in the field, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Your focus will be on:
Locating section corners, property corners, and survey control points under the direction of a land surveyor.
Preparing topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information, and completing survey notes in a timely manner.
Perform stake-out services for commercial construction projects.
Interacting with clients and/or contractors. Teamwork and good communication are important.
To be considered for this position youll need to meet the minimum qualifications for a technician role:
4 years related experience working as a technician in the field.
Associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
Experience using survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and data collector.
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Valid drivers license.
