POSITION GOAL:
Provide kokua for accessing affordable health insurance services to the uninsured and underinsured Maui County population, naturally including the outer islands of Molokai and Lanai, while targeting COFA, migrant farm workers/service industry workers, homeless, IDUs, LGBTQ community, and recently released prison population. Seeking referrals, cohorts / collaboration with churches and community groups with access to hard to reach & at-risk communities. In doing so we learn that there are families and children who could benefit from other services Imua Family Services and our partner agencies whom have been overlooked because they have not been a part of the healthcare system in our community.
This position is a part-time position with the ability to become full-time.
