Vaco Technology is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Austin, TX


Responsibilities:
Support the vision, direction and strategic development of the tools group, partnering with
engineers and cross-functional collaborators to deliver prioritized projects
Guide planning, partner management, and delivery for multiple software projects through
establishment of project plans, dependencies, success criteria, backlog management /
prioritization and communication touchpoints
Translate partner requirements into specific tasks; assigning those tasks to relevant functional
areas through agile processes and ceremonies
Manage internal and external resources to define and adhere to strict production schedules and
ensure the smooth operation of tools initiatives
Provide thorough and timely communication on developing issues
Handle technical product complexity, validating requirements and trade-offs;
communicating technical concepts and needs to non-technical audiences
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Proficiency in project management principles, methodologies and tools including Agile, Kanban,
SCRUM, traditional waterfall, Jira and Confluence
Proven project management experience in a software development environment, ideally running
highly technical projects
Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases and CI / CD concepts
Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to simplify, structure, and communicate
information to all levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a natural inclination for planning
strategy and tactics
Adept at quickly picking up and learning new technologies and adapting to new methods and
processes
Driven, proactive self-starter and quick learner; never has to be asked to optimize productivity
or solve a problem
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical experience around game-specific tools (3D content creation, Unreal plug-ins etc.)
Experience developing tech for internal customers in entertainment
Gaming industry experience, mainly working on AAA titles
Schedule Requirements:
Monday to Friday, standard business hours Technical Project Manager
