Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Project Control Specialist with construction experience in the Jersey City, NJ area.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the field of code review and report/proposal preparation in a construction setting.

This is a full-time, hybrid position.

Responsibilities

• Review Tenant Alteration Application (TAA) tasks, including monitoring TAA status, report preparation, and budget estimations.
• Monitor charge codes and expenses relating to ongoing construction projects.
• Prepare presentations relating to current construction projects for clients, department members, and other presiding attendees.
• Assist in the development of RFPs and purchase orders for ongoing construction projects.
• Coordinate with other members of the quality assurance division and other divisions, as necessary.
• Maintain accurate filing and distribution of documents, both digital and/or manual.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in the field of project coordination, construction code review, Tenant Alteration Application, or related in a construction setting.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office is required. Stronger proficiency is preferred.
• Staff must have the ability to pass a Secure Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) personnel background screening at a High Level and ability to comply with policies on information security.
• Staff must have demonstrated ability to meet schedules and budgets for project deliverables.
• Staff must have strong interpersonal, written, oral and collaboration skills.
