Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing mechanical design drawings and specifications for new and existing facilities.
• Conducting calculations related to mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs.
• Collaborating with architects, other engineering disciplines, and clients to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems into building designs.
• Providing cost estimating associated with mechanical designs to assist in project budgeting and planning.
• Reviewing and interpreting project requirements, codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in design development.
• Participating in project meetings and coordinating with project stakeholders to address design-related issues and ensure project success.
• Conducting site visits and surveys as needed to gather information for design development and construction administration.
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative design solutions and best practices.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on technical issues and professional development.
• Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mechanical engineering.
• Participating in professional organizations and networking events to enhance industry knowledge and professional relationships.

Required Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
