Laundry Aide Position Summary
The Laundry Aide carries out all cleaning duties as directed by the Administrator and Environmental Services Director according to required policies and procedures. Their role also includes the following responsibilities:
•Follow all cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments.
•Maintain a high standard of presentation always adhering to infection control policies.
•Ensure all equipment is used correctly and safely.
•Complete daily documentation as necessary.
•Perform laundry tasks (counting linens, delivering to units, sanitizing work areas, operating washer, and dryers, etc.)
•Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance.
•Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Laundry Aide Requirements
•High School diploma or GED
•Long-term care or applicable experience preferred
