Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining par levels
- Train and supervise bar staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality beverages
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment maintenance and regular cleaning schedules
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and reconciliation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service with bar operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology trends
- Proficient in operating Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
