The plant manager will oversee the manufacturing facility including but not limited to safety, direct labor, company policies, quality and regulatory, equipment & maintenance, and overall operational functions. You will partner with other organizational leaders in logistics, quality, HR, and Supply chain to effectively manage operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement yearly plant budget and plans by establishing goals and KPIs that align with overall company objectives
• Guarantees consistent production to meet demand and scheduling needs, efficiently managing resources to prevent inventory shortages or missed sales.
• Maintains adherence to company policies, CGMP, OSHA, and environmental standards, working closely with the Quality team to uphold the plant’s quality program.
• Drives initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and root cause analysis to boost safety, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery, while also overseeing staff training, cross-training, and development programs.
• Supervises the upkeep of buildings and equipment, manages departmental budgets, aids in new product development and testing, and contributes to strategic planning for future production and facility expansion.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership
• Knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production manufacturing highly preferred
• cGMP knowledge and experience
• Safety first mentality with experience developing safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Experience and understanding of automated equipment and maintenance schedules
• Experience in preparing and adhering to budget, cost reduction initiatives and measurement, and cost management
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000
