How will you make a difference? As a member of the Quality team, you are responsible for being involved in the inspection and quality control procedures in the Electronics Department. You will be responsible for purchased material, in-process material, and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved. What do we want to know about you? Minimum of 3-5 years in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years working with/an Electronics Department Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proven ability to multitask. Knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques, and equipment used in an Electronics Department Knowledge of the use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and schematics. Quality and customer service orientation. Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member. What will your typical day look like? Work directly on the production floor with the Electronics Technicians to ensure quality products. Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality. Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practice. Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records. Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures. What about the physical demands of the job? Must be able to walk, stand and sit for 10 hours per day. Must be able to wear PPE for 10 hours per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
