We are seeking a Full Time Transportation Aide for our Region V Crisis Receiving Center located in Suffolk, VA:
**Experience with clients transporting clients with medical or mental health concerns preferred.**
Responsibilities and Duties for Transportation Aide:

• Transports consumers to assigned program destination, ensures that proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicle
• Complete daily records and maintain paperwork
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections. Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.
• Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting the vehicles as required

Qualifications and Skills for Transportation Aide:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year work experience transporting individuals with ID/DD or SMI
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable DMV record- Required
• Ability to lift fifty pounds
• Pre-employment physical and annually, thereafter.
• Preferred : First Aid, ad CPR certified
