Western Truck & Auto is seeking a Medium Duty Shop Mechanic for their high volume repair shop. We have 2 shifts available, work days are Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays.

Duties:

• Perform complete and accurate diagnosis of vehicle mechanical breakdowns, manually or by means of computerized diagnostic tools
• Communicate with Front Office to ensure complete and accurate estimates are in place prior to customer notification
• Discuss repairs with customer upon request
• Perform DOT inspections as required
• Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely fashion
• Responsible for shop clean up, disposal of parts and materials, along with other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Applicants should be familiar with all aspects of automotive repair, medium duty experience helpful.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
• Candidates must have strong communication skills.
• Individuals must be able to lift 60 lbs. and supply their own tools.
• Must have valid driver license (Class A CDL helpful) with Clean MVR

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm / 2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• Some Saturday work
