What you'll do:
ERM/ORM is a growing organization focused on providing expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities throughout the company. The organization plays a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk.
As an ERM Sr. Analyst, you will play a key supporting role in the management of the bank's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) System. The role is part of the bank's GRC Team in the second line of defense and is responsible for GRC system administration, developing reports and dashboards, end user support, change management, developing policies and procedures, and training for stakeholders throughout the bank. The GRC System is the technology solution that enables the bank's integrated risk management program. The GRC Team is part of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Group (ERM/ORM) that is responsible for developing and implementing the bank's risk management framework.

GRC Team
  • Responsible for developing reports, metrics, dashboards and provide data analysis support for the GRC tool in the Enterprise Risk Management team.
  • Requirement gathering, solution analysis, design, development & testing for GRC reporting and dashboards.
  • Analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in risk data to provide solutions and recommended action to the business.
  • Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations to enable them make data driven decisions.
  • Measures and monitors reports and dashboards to help in decision making.
  • Work with program owners to clarify requests, revise priorities, and identify problems.
  • Document new backlog items & identify functional/technical requirements in ADO based on program owner requests.
  • Maintain familiarity with multiple GRC workstreams, how they work, how they are used, and understand any system limitations.
  • Provide end user support based on system knowledge.
  • Work with Automation testing team to identify, develop and maintain regression use cases.
  • Perform production validations and other deployment related support activities.
Communication
  • Develop meeting agendas; facilitate meetings; maintain stakeholder communications, material development, and drafting of minutes to accurately reflect GRC discussion and action.
  • Provide updates on GRC project implementation and dashboards and metrics to represent the GRC program performance; synthesize key findings into clear and succinct presentations for the GRC and outside teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on presentation materials to ensure effective, appropriate, and accurate communications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge (4 years) in business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau
  • 5 years of direct, related Information Technology (includes Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Legal, process management) experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects within required timelines.
  • Aptitude to form strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge in GRC platforms and preference for experience implementing a GRC Platform.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft office suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
