Upon hire the following will be required:
Valid First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat Illness Certifications
Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate
General Description:
Under supervision of the Principal and Athletic Director, teach the fundamentals of the specified activity; be responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of the specified activity program.
Qualification/Requirements:
Minimum of one year coaching experience is desirable.
Knowledge of skills, strategies, and safe procedures in the specified activity.

Upon being recommended for a opportunity the following steps must be completed as required by District policy and State and Federal law:
•A Mantoux Tuberculin Test within past 60 days
•Drug Screening by District-Approved Facility
•Fingerprint Clearance
•Mandated Trainings and Certifications (Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Bloodborne Pathogens, Injury/Illness Prevention Program, Bullying Prevention, Anti-Harassment, Cybersecurity, Email and Messaging etc.)

The West Covina Unified School District (WCUSD) is committed to ensuring equal, fair,
