Job description

We are a Psychiatric practice providing mental health services to the St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch areas. As a quickly growing organization, we are looking to add another Medical Receptionist to our organization!

There is a lot of room for personal and professional growth within the organization as we are continually growing and adding on additional medical providers.

We are looking for this medical receptionist to be primarily officing out of our St. Petersburg location, but, this person may also have the opportunity to work at our newest Clearwater Location or our Lakewood Ranch location potentially too, when coverage is needed there.

We are a family-owned business and have created a wonderful atmosphere and culture for our employees and patients. Our culture is best described as light-hearted, fun, and caring--we even have two small office dogs (Papillons) that join us daily to keep the environment fun and light-hearted! Job description:

  • Check-In Activities
  • Check-Out Activities
  • Patient Scheduling
  • New Patient Triage
  • Taking Patient Co-Insurance Payments
  • Calling in Prescriber RX's (as needed)
  • Medical Billing
  • Insurance Verification of Benefits / Insurance Benefits Reviews
  • Performing Insurance Required Pre-Authorizations (as needed)
  • Copayment / Coinsurance Verifications / Calculations
  • Opportunity to Train as a TMS Technician / TMS Treater (you will be trained by the medical director to be a fill-in TMS Technician / TMS Treater)
  • Utilizing our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Kareo (now Tebra) System
  • Medical Records Requests
  • Other Ad Hoc Projects (as needed)
