Director of Nursing Services Duties:
- Maintain the highest quality of Resident Care
- Supervising all nursing staff
- Ensure effective communication with all nursing teams.
- Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services.
- Overseeing department budgets
- Providing ongoing education classes
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting of new nursing staff.
- Assist and supervise the staffing coordinator.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
- Communicating with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health
- Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
REQUIREMENTS :
- Current GA RN Registered Nurse license
- Prior Director of Nursing Services experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
