Job Summary
As the Lead Technician you are responsible for varying levels of service, on-site customer interaction, equipment maintenance, consumable inventory management, and ensuring vehicle safety. Your primary day to day responsibility is to respond to scheduled customer appointments and field dispatches, communicate available services to clients, and perform the home/property maintenance services requested. You accomplish this with use of a fully stocked and equipped Promaster Cargo van. Additional duties may include handling scheduled vehicle maintenance visits and ongoing oil changes.
To be successful you must have excellent customer verbal and written interaction skills, strong equivalent field/related experience, highly capable of independent troubleshooting, and adapting to a changing work schedule. Effectively, a top-level Technician independently and efficiently manages all service callouts, providing high-quality service and performing the required maintenance for any job size.
Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service maintenance within defined timeframes.
• Capable of working in varying environments; single family homes, apartments, condominiums, and commercial, etc.
• Meet with the customer before service begins to walk through services being performed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to the service equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot failures to the service equipment.
• Installation, testing, and training on new service equipment.
• Maintain van consumable stock daily. Maintain all equipment.
• Use Go Pro camera to take pictures on a mounted stick in combination with mobile phone.
• Prepare post-job client report using Apple iPad.
• **NOTE**: you will not amend or repair any part of the home/owner's property.

Qualifications

• You're handy and have been working in a maintenance environment
• You have strong time management skills demonstrating the ability to get work done quickly within a defined timeframe.
• You're great with people, customer focussed, and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
• You recognize most homeowners don't have the time or know how to maintain the critical components of their home and you know the right way to talk to customers to convey trust that everything will be taken care of as expected.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
• High School Diploma or GED
