Wayne Dalton of Syracuse is seeking a reliable and hardworking Commercial Installation Helper to join our team. As a Commercial Installation Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians in installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors for our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the installation and repair of commercial overhead doors, including rolling steel doors, sectional doors, fire doors, and more

· Help transport equipment and materials to job sites

· Measure and cut materials to required dimensions

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on overhead doors

· Responsible to drive and maintain company owned truck during working hours

· Ensure a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols

· Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

· Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

· Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

· Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Previous experience in construction or a related field
