LOCATION: Romulus Early Childhood Center

WORK YEAR: Program Calendar (approximately 9 ½ months)

WORK DAYS/HOURS: Monday through Friday
25 hours / week

REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Early Childhood

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Experience or training in early childhood.
3. Neat in appearance, pleasant personality, and punctual attendance.
4. Ability to work well with others.
5. Ability to reflect on ways to increase effectiveness.
6. Ability to get along with and work well with staff, children, and parents.
7. Have basic knowledge of how to use computers and apps.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise Children.
2. Interact with the children in a positive manner.
3. Make sure each child is signed in and out.
4. Be able to fill the duties of the absent staff member.
5. Practice Health & Safety Standards.
6. Willing to learn duties through observations of team members and instructions from the supervisor.
7. Provide breaks for the team members in your classroom(s)/area.
8. Assist Teachers with special requests as needed.
9. Keep equipment and supplies organized and neat in appearance.
10. Other duties may be assigned.
11. Accept supervision and feedback as positive.

The employee must be able to move about the assigned location during the day.
