Job Description Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts under supervision including setting up new accounts and maintaining existing customers. Perform annual credit reviews of key accounts as required including full financial statement analysis when appropriate and recommend client credit line. Research, reconcile and resolve past due items using available reports and technologies. Contact clients by phone and email as needed to reconcile accounts and resolve delinquencies and disputed items. Maintain a clean portfolio aging accounts within established targets. Develop and build relationships with key account participants (Customer AP, Buyer, Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, etc) and establish clear and open lines of communication in order to facilitate efficient and effective channels of communication and build credibility within the organization. Under supervision, implement policies and procedures that prevent the occurrence of past dues by working with customers to understand their internal systems and constraints, determine reasons for delinquencies and development innovative solutions that meet both customer and company needs. Work collaboratively with internal departments and involved third parties to determine causal impacts of delinquencies. Partner with other C&C group members and other departments to develop policies, procedures and use available technologies to reduce the occurrence of past due items. Core Competencies: Seven to ten years experience with full range credit and collections. Superior collection skills and some credit risk assessment exposure. Thorough knowledge of systems i.e., Oracle, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. and basic accounting skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently within assigned roles and responsibilities.
