The Walnut Creek School District is accepting applications for a K-8 Music Teacher specializing in string instruments. The duties of a strings teacher include working with groups and individual students in grades 3-8 to improve their skills in playing a string instrument such as a violin, viola, guitar, bass, or cello. Ability to teach one or more of these areas strongly desired: -Middle School Orchestra/Strings -Elementary Instrumental Music

The Walnut Creek School District is located in Northern California in the Bay Area. We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
