As a Shipping Associate, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining inventory, coordinating outbound shipments, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials. Macurco designs, develops, and manufactures a full set of fixed and portable gas detection monitors for the protection of workers, responders, and the community.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Masterful Shipping and Receiving: Prepare shipping documents with precision, including Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and Custom Documents.
• Efficient Inventory Management: Coordinate the movement of inventory to and from the warehouse, ensuring accurate transfers and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Streamlined Delivery Operations: Deliver supplies and equipment promptly to various departments, facilitating smooth workflow.
• Space Optimization: Maintain the organization of our storage area, implementing storage design principles and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Rigorous Inventory Control: Conduct regular physical counts, reconcile variances, and input data accurately to maintain precise inventory records.
• Warehouse Excellence: Contribute valuable insights to strategic plans, uphold operational standards, and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Insightful Reporting: Generate daily reports, including Daily Shipping Reports and Assembly Orders, to provide valuable operational insights.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends and developments by actively participating in educational opportunities and staying updated with technical publications.
• Mission Accomplished: Fulfill additional duties as assigned, demonstrating dedication to the organization's mission and goals.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 Years of Experience in Related Field (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Fed-Ex, UPS WorldShip, and Standard Shipping Software (Preferred)
• Advanced Computer Skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
• Strong Resource Management Skills
• Basic Math and Communication Skills
• Ability to Thrive in a Team Environment
• Capacity to Work Independently and Meet Deadlines
• Willingness to Work Overtime as Needed

Physical Requirements:

• Dynamic Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 150 pounds, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach.
• Adaptable Environment: Occasional exposure to industrial elements such as dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, and temperature changes.
