Title: Tow Motor Operator

Pay :$16.00

Shift: 1st - 5:30am - 1:00pm Monday - Friday with overtime available

PrideStaff is seeking to hire experienced Tow Motor Operators for 1st shift in Akron!

Job Responsibilities:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using sit-down tow motor or other equipment.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Stack cargo in locations such as transit sheds or in holds of ships as directed, using pallets or cargo boards
• Utilize RF Scanner for tracking and picking orders

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months - 1 year of recent experience operating a sit-down tow motor
• Ability to use an RF Scanner for picking orders
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. as required for material handling and building skids
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
• Willingness to learn
