**Description**
**We are hiring Cashier/Barista in an acute care hospital.**
The Cashier/Barista is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and customer service-driven individual. This position is a "jack of all trades" and is responsible for assisting in Catering, Utility, and Cafeteria front-of-the-house operations. Primary responsibilities include stocking merchandise, entree service, set up and clean up of catered events, cashier, and customer service.
**$14.50 /hr. DOE**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Operate register throughout the shift and balance register tills at the close of business
* Handle money in a quick efficient manner
* Maintain an accurate cash drawer
* Make coffee to order with a precise recipe and standards
* Maintains cleanliness of the caf throughout service
* Maintain variety and display of all food items
* Stock all items in the cafe setting
* Ensures the caf is set up for success on time, every day
* Stock, clean and sanitize for next day service
* Maintain company uniform and dress code
* Meets attendance policy and adheres to company P&P
* Other duties as directed
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**
* Excellent customer service and communication
* Ability to perform basic math duties
* Ability to multitask
* Detail-oriented
* ServSafe Manager certified, preferred
* Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
* Capable of standing for long periods of time
* Able to adapt to changing situations
* **Be able to pass a background check and drug screen**
