Responsibility Summary
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Ancillary Coordinator is responsible for the daily execution of the many supporting functions of the operations team. Such as: EHS Coordinator, processes all required movements of materials in Profield as well as purchasing requisitions in order for the operations team to function properly. The Ancillary Coordinator also serves as a backup for the Shipping Coordinator and Receiving Coordinator in case of their absence.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Safety Coordinator
- for safety orientation, safety training, job site inspections and reporting.
- awareness of amendments to the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and make recommendations for their implementation.
- for monitoring adherence to the company safety program by all Company Systems employees/Temps/Contractors in our facility.
- the timely completion of accident/injury reporting.
- inspections, investigations, and occupational safety activities
- all necessary safety documents (EIS, SOS, MSR, etc) into IMS by Friday of each week
Profield/Shipping - Receiving Functions
- the order entry after Admin enter them
- all necessary movements and functions in Profield based upon branch production (production reports, beam cuts, scrap movements, consumable usage, etc.)
- pick list vs delivery docs vs pictures for all Shipping/Receiving trucks in/out of the branch
- Purchasing
Miscellaneous
- payroll every Monday
- health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance
- issues to Operations Manager as necessary
- duties as assigned
Secondary Functions
- Cross Train on the Shipping Coordinator & Receiving Coordinator roles so as being capable of
covering these roles for vacation or absence.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- The Operations Coordinator provides work directions to assigned Yard Lead and modifies it accordingly. The Operations Coordinator works with the Yard Manager to address personnel issues as they arise.
