Wake County is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Raleigh, NC

What You'll Be Doing Wake County Health and Human Services is seeking an administrative rock star to be the Project Coordinator for Community Health. The Project Coordinator for Community Health works as a part of the HealthLit4Wake team to ensure compliance and best practices regarding development and implementation for community-based health programs. This position specializes in monitoring and maintaining project plans with community partners and facilitating community outreach and engagement activities. Additionally, the Project Coordinator for Community Health coordinates and maintains the availability of community health best practices and resources to the populations served. This position develops and maintains training and communications systems to ensure operational compliance as well as coordinates with WCHS Contracts and/or Finance staff and LEP vendors to ensure smooth operations. Applicants with current HL4W program experience are encouraged to apply! About Our TeamWake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) is the consolidation of programs and services that include social services, public health, job search assistance, child support, and transportation. Our mission, in partnership with the community, is to facilitate full access to high quality and effective health and human services for Wake County residents. In addition to our numerous standard programs, Wake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) is engaged in a number of special initiatives that are impacting services and programs throughout our entire agency. Required The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of job-related experience
  • Equivalent education and experience are accepted

  • Current HL4W experience
  • Masters Degree in Public Health or related field
