What you will do

The event manager is responsible for managing, coordinating and converting group requests into actual agreements and always managing the details with efficient precision.
As an events manager, you follow up on all contractual agreements.
You increase the group's revenue by developing the affiliates' business and transforming the customers' needs from basic to memorable, in line with the W brand image.
You will maintain a strong field presence by providing quality service to customers and building strong relationships with customers and the external sales team to ensure customer retention.
You will produce and send out BEOs and communicate any changes and/or updates to all hotel departments as necessary.
You will participate in hotel tours and planning meetings for upcoming groups and potential affiliate business.

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in the groups and events department in a 5* environment.
You are fluent in French and English. 
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive and optimistic attitude to work and life. 
You are creative and always thinking of new ways of doing things, you accept change.
