YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Crisis Stabilization Unit LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to patients in need. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of psychiatric technicians, assisting them in meeting the daily living activities of our patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing procedures to address the medical needs of each patient while in the CSU. Screening calls and questions related to medication will be a part of your responsibilities, ensuring that our patients receive the necessary information and support regarding their medications. You will also have the opportunity to arrange educational sessions for patients, providing them with vital knowledge on their prescribed medications.

Monitoring lab work following medication guidelines will be essential in maintaining the safety and well-being of our patients. Another important aspect of this position is the completion of admissions assessments and the creation of treatment plans. You may also be responsible for phone consultations and dispensing prescriptions, under the guidance of our psychiatrist or nurse practitioner. Your attention to detail and adherence to protocol will be vital in providing the highest level of care to our patients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed as an LPN in the State of Tennessee
• Experience working in the mental health field
