We are currently searching for an experienced Drainage EIT to support our Southwest Region located in Texas .

What you’ll be doing:

• Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in Project Plans and reports
• Assists and prepares project plans using the latest CADD software including but not limited to MicroStation, OpenRoads, Civil3D, and/or AutoCADD, among others
• Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities, details, cost estimates and the preparation of project specifications
• Reviews project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance to project requirements
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules
• Collaborating across multiple disciplines, piers, and other professionals to successfully deliver quality projects within budget and schedule
• Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering
• EIT (E.I) Certification is desired (or the commitment to acquire it within 1-year)
• A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience
• Experience with (or strong willingness to learn) MicroStation, Geopak, Civil3D, StormCAD, ORD, ICPR, HEC-RAS, GIS and/or SUDA software (among other software)
• Previous TxDOT/Municipal experience is a plus
• Prior knowledge of TxDOT standards is preferred
• Prior knowledge of Environmental Permitting process / Water management districts regulatory standards and manuals
