Veolia Nuclear Solutions Federal Services is looking for Electrical Engineers. In this position professionals will develop detailed designs and analysis of low voltage electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, communication systems, and instrumentation for industrial and nuclear applications. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals who possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment using excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in multidiscipline design teams to develop detailed designs.
• Working under the direction of a Principal Engineer:
• Prepare design drawings, design calculations, fabrication and construction specifications to meet design criteria and objectives
• Review and evaluate customer provided design criteria, interpret and apply design codes and standards to ensure design products conform to consensus standards.
• Development and/or review of design documents and drawings that will be issued for construction.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0-5 years of experience in engineering design
• Working knowledge of electrical systems analysis using computational software.
• Working knowledge of national codes and standards such as NFPA 70, IEEE, IEC.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with MathCAD, AutoCAD, Solidworks preferred 
• PE Licensed
• Experience with Federal Projects within the Department of Defense, Department of Energy or Hanford Specific Experience
