Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our remote team. As a Remote School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students in our virtual learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling services, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing intervention plans to support student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and accommodations.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic and emotional well-being.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and accommodations.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices in the field of school psychology and participate in professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Virginia certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including experience with standardized assessment tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote assessment, counseling, and collaboration (e.g., video conferencing, virtual platforms).
