Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and security controls.
* Oversee the development of comprehensive ZTA architecture documentations, emphasizing adherence to reference design and security controls.
* Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in obtaining and retaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for all instances.
* Maintain a robust accreditation and authorization process for the ZTA mission, with a focus on Engineering Development activities.
* Ensure the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) follows the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
* Develop and test Zero Trust Software.
* Ensure adherence to security controls, policies, and documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
* Develop ZTA architecture documentations pertaining to security controls
* Maintain the custom created software and applications.
* Ensure software adheres to government policies.
* Take a lead role in managing and mitigating cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
