Job Description
This position will be responsible for overall project management support for a broad, complex portfolio of projects that require high levels of functional integration and change management. This position reports directly to the Director, Project Management and collaborates with many constituents within the department and across the organization.
This position works on a hybrid schedule and works from home Mondays and Friday and in our Tustin (92780) office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
  • Partner with project owners and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive project plans (scope, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and timeline)
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure that all scheduling activities are accounted for and documented
  • Develop portfolio and executive level dashboards identifying critical path milestones, schedule risks, and other key data needed
  • Distribute project schedules to stakeholders, solicit feedback, identify discrepancies, corrections are made as needed, and company's schedule updates are accounted for
  • Interface with executives to define project priorities, implementation opportunities, challenges and communicate project risks and opportunities
  • Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders
  • Foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with project leaders and senior stakeholders, assess cross-functional project team capability, provide coaching, training and support to enhance project/program management capability, and improve collaborative development and project results
  • Effectively manage project meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and help problem solve quickly by escalating to leadership as needed
  • Support the development and implementation of a common project management methodology, processes, policies, tools, governance, standards, to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects
  • Support the development and implementation of reporting templates, dashboards, templates, and metrics to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects
Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen and organization leadership skills; assertive and diplomatic; self-directing; able to manage up and down the organization with influence; willing to hold others accountable.
  • Ability to manage all facets of project management including planning, implementation, delivery, and closeout.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, logical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, flexibility, consideration, discretion, tact, confidence, and effectiveness in dealing with people.
  • Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Information Technology, or Project Management.
  • 7 years of experience in project and program management, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in Risk and Strategic Management
  • Experience in process development and project management principles leading to improved outcomes.
  • Project management certification (PMP) and/or formal coursework/training in project management strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Change management
  • Good Stakeholder management and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions and out of the box thinking.

Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
$105,330.00 - $175,550.00
