Genesis Construction Management a subsidiary of Genesis Companies based in Kansas City has an immediate career opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to join our team in St. Peter's, MO for construction of ground up 4 story wood frame hotels.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a background in hospitality construction to oversee and manage the successful execution of a construction project in Saint Peters, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality hospitality projects on time and within budget. This role involves on-site supervision, team coordination, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Familiarity with Procore software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision to ensure the project's successful execution.
• Manage and coordinate all construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and material procurement.
• Monitor and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality control.

Safety Compliance:

• Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training to project team members.

Hospitality Expertise:

• Utilize expertise in hospitality construction to guide and advise on project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure design intent is met.

Team Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and other project team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Manage labor resources effectively.

Procore Software:

• Familiarity with Procore construction management software is a must.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and inspection records.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a focus on hospitality construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Hospitality construction experience is required.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with construction software and tools, including Procore (preferred).
• OSHA certification and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work on-site in Saint Peters, Missouri.
